Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Collected during my wanderings on the Cornish coast, Ocean Brick is a beautiful reclaimed material to work with. Having spent many a moon in the Ocean & along the shore each piece already has its own story to tell. Most pieces I find are small & manageable enough to carry off the beach in my pockets. This portability lends itself wonderfully to creating Art-jewellery & Objet d'art with the Brick.

With a thirst for carving & unable to get my hands on any large pieces of stone, I began to carve Ocean Brick. Combining this beautiful material with reclaimed metals, wood & even carved electrical wire to produce Art-Jewellery
Objet d'art
I have continued to collect & carve Ocean Brick. Drawing on my stone carving experience I have created pieces of Objet d'art to hold in the hand & also to display.
